The Jones County Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque, is excited to announce that Great Give Day is just around the corner on Thursday, May 13. Great Give Day is a 24-hour, online giving event established by the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque to celebrate and support local nonprofits and build a stronger community.
Since 2014, Great Give Day has raised more than $2 million for nonprofits across the region. Last year, the campaign collected over 3,000 gifts and raised nearly $340,000 for local organizations. The event is open to all nonprofits with endowment funds at the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque or one of its affiliate foundations.

The March 4th edition of the Journal-Eureka contained an article about how the Jones County Community Foundationâs Disaster Relief Fund aids and assists non-profit organizations in time of need. They have stepped up once again!
The Legionnaires of American Legion Post 473 in Oxford Junction send a big âThank Youâ to the JCCF for awarding a grant to help us recover from over a year without the ability to conduct fundraising events that enable us to maintain our Post Home and fund a myriad of worthwhile Children & Youth activities. We are most thankful for their support and will be forever grateful.

The Olin and Morley food pantry would like to thank all of those that have made contributions and grants for the pantry in 2020. As we all know, 2020 was a challenging year with more people being food insecure. Thanks to the additional funds we received, we have been able to meet the needs of all those who were feeling the loss of jobs and income.
This year is starting off with just as much need so thanks to all who helped us out in 2020 and to those that will help in 2021.
