AN IMAGINATIVE youngster has been crowned the winner of a short story competition.
Thomas Harris from Holy Trinity Primary School won the competition held by developer McCarthy Stone after penning his story ‘The Not Knows Landâ.
The year six pupils were given the theme of portals, inspired by the work of childrenâs author and poet AF Harold, particularly his book ‘The Song from Somewhere Else’.
The work was judged by homeowners from the company’s Harvard Place development.
Thomas’ own story tells the tale of a young girlâs journey to return to her homeland after being taken by a mysterious being.

With no date set for pupils to return to the classroom, video lessons could be here for some time.
