NORFOLK, Va. There s something new coming to Norfolk s Colley Avenue.
In April of 2021, the Ghent Farmers Market is coming to the heart of the historic Ghent business district. The market will be at the corner of Spotswood and Colley, on the grounds of James Blair Middle School, running from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the first and third Fridays of every month.
“I cannot wait to see all the people walking through Colley and patronizing all these businesses. It s not just about us, but everyone here, market manager Lori Golding-Zontini told 13News Now on Wednesday.

HAMPTON ROADS, Va. - Several local school districts will continue to provide free meals during winter break for all students.
Here s a list of the school districts that have announced their winter break schedule for food distribution:
Norfolk
School Nutrition will be offering free grab-n-go meals for children ages 18 and under at 23 school locations on Mondays and Wednesdays during Winter Break.
The dates of distribution will be December 21, 23, 28, and 30 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the following schools:
Booker T. Washington High: 1111 Park Ave., 23504
Granby High: 7101 Granby St., 23505
Norview High: 6501 Chesapeake Blvd., 23513
Azalea Gardens Middle: 7721 Azalea Garden Rd., 23518
Williamsburg-James City County Schools will return to remote learning

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. Williamsburg-James City County Schools announced all students will return to virtual learning starting Tuesday, December 15.
The division said the move is due to the significant increase of coronavirus trends in the area.
In its announcement, officials said James City County and the City of Williamsburg are both in the highest risk for transmission of the coronavirus in schools, according to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines.
