Leading music video network Vevo has launched a new contextual ad targeting product to allows brands to place their campaign alongside the top Vevo music videos of a particular decade, from the 1970s through the 2010s, in addition to targeting a specific genre or country.
Explaining the launch of the new Vevo Rewind, the company said that more than 30% of consumers are driven to a streaming service by the ability to re-watch old favourites as opposed to accessing fresh content.
With its new solution, Vevo says that it is helping brands and advertisers align ad creative with relevant content, presenting consumers with a positive and memorable ad experience, as well as associate brand messaging with positive references from the early 2000s, 90s, 80s, and 70s, thus forging meaningful connections between the past and present. A MAN from Weston-super-Mare was handed a 10-month driving ban for causing damage to a BT phone box and failing to stop after the accident. After pleading guilty at North Somerset Magistrates Court, 31-year-old Michael John Amey - of Abbey Gardens - was also ordered to pay costs of £160 and a victim surcharge of £95. A Weston-super-Mare man has been banned from driving for 12 months, after pleading guilty to driving under the influence of controlled drug Delta 9 Tetrahydrocannibinol. Elyes Jammali, 36, of Swiss Road, also pleaded guilty to driving without insurance, and was handed a fine of £120, as well as having to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £34.
Magic Lantern Slides offer a Peek into Upper Middle Class Edwardian Life at The Laurels , Hornsey
I recently came across a marvellous set of late nineteenth and early twentieth century magic lantern slides. They show a slice of life inside the Laurels in Hornsey. I ve found mention of a Laurels in Tottenham Lane through a record of their selling a parcel of land to the Great Northern Railway Company.
