Pradhan, Cutler honored with West Des Moines Chamber citizen awards Wednesday, June 2, 2021 4:00 PM Sanjita Pradhan has been named the West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce’s 2021 Citizen of the Year. The chamber also named Scott Cutler as the Emerging Citizen of the Year. Pradhan, the director of diversity and inclusion at the Greater Des Moines Partnership, has served on the city of West Des Moines’ Human Rights Commission for six years, and has helped launch a civic engagement initiative to educate and empower Asian American communities to learn about their voting rights. A longtime West Des Moines resident with children in the West Des Moines school district, Pradhan also has represented Iowa on the President’s Advisory Commission for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
