Jane Livingston, chief information officer and associate vice president at Florida State University, has been appointed vice president for information technology and CIO at the University of Notre Dame. Notre Dame Executive Vice President Shannon Cullinan said, “Jane’s depth of knowledge, vast experience at major research universities, innovative mindset and ability to create high-performing teams propelled her to the top of a pool of extraordinary candidates.” Livingston succeeds John Gohsman, who retired in September, and Ron Kraemer, who served as Notre Dame’s CIO from 2010 to 2018 and stepped in on an interim basis during this academic year.

He was 79.
