According to Superintendent Randy Bergquist, the transaction also includes a land swap with the sellers, Scott and Janel Baker. The district is purchasing about 7 acres, which is situated between First Avenue West and First Avenue East (County Road 3), south of the school’s existing tennis courts.
The district will then give the Bakers about an acre of land, which is adjacent to the Baker’s home property at the end of First Avenue West.
