Lt. Gen. Terry R. Ferrell, commanding general, U.S. Army Central, serving as reviewing officer for the ceremony, spoke to the 1st TSC soldiers, families, friends and guests.
âToday is a bittersweet day, because we are going to say farewell to a phenomenal commander and a great command team,â Ferrell said.

Last year most St. Patrick's Day events were canceled when the state abruptly shut down bars and restaurants in response to COVID-19. This year some events are still taking place, but smaller and likely more subdued as the pandemic has still meant reduced capacity at bars and restaurants.

A Super Bowl ad from Cure Auto Insurance, which played right before halftime Sunday night, is drawing criticism for belittling the seriousness of workplace harassment.
The ad takes place within an office where a lady is seated behind a desk – with two employees – one female and one male.
“Ms. Davis, Tommy just brought me into his office and whipped out his opinion,” the female employee stated.
“Tommy,” the lady behind the desk, purportedly a supervisor, replied.
“I didn’t just whip it out. She was into it. Plus, I have a pretty big opinion,” Tommy then added.
