Woman, 23, claims I am not a monster

A woman claimed I am not a monster despite leaving an innocent pub-goer scarred for life and in need of 27 stitches after she glassed him in a bar.  Jessica McMillan, 23, lost her temper and thrust a glass into the face of Ryan Davies, 27, at a pub in Newport, south Wales.   Mr Davies was left in need of 27 stitches following the attack, which the father-of-one claims led to him losing his job and severing the relationship with the mother of his son.     McMillan was jailed for 15 months, suspended for 18 months. She declared I am not a monster as she walked free from Cardiff Crown Court.

Man left needing 27 stitches after woman hit him with a glass in pub The glass struck the victim with some force , a court heard Updated A man was left needing 27 stitches after being glassed by a woman in a pub. Cardiff Crown Court heard that Jessica McMillan was drinking a pub in Newport when she lashed out at a fellow male drinker. The 23-year-old was seen on CCTV talking to the male - who was named in court as Ryan Davies - before losing her temper. Judge HHJ J Jenkins addressed the court and described the events that led to the incident which took place in a Newport pub on August 1, 2019.
