National Library Week celebrates libraries pivotal role
Jefferson County Library District continues to expand its mission to educate, engage and explore
This week, we celebrate National Library Week and acknowledge libraries pivotal role in communities across the country.
National Library Week was created in 1958 as a weeklong celebration to motivate everyone to read, supporting your local library, and showing appreciation to the library staff. The 2021 theme is Welcome to your Library! - something we always strive to do, especially this week.
Welcome to your Jefferson County Library. The library has so much to offer you. National Library Week seems like a great time to highlight the programs we offer, the resources we provide, the information we share. Come in and find out more as we continue to chart a course that expands our mission to educate, engage and explore.
