GALLERY: Mackay gets out to give it all a go

Premium Content Subscriber only If ever anyone said you slowed down in your twilight years, U3A Mackay members would certainly prove them wrong. There’s something for everyone and with about 550 members on the books, it’s guaranteed to be a big year to make up for COVID-19 disrupting 2020. Like most community events and sports, U3A Mackay was forced to scale back and, in some cases, cancel events last year but the organisation is back. The annual Give it a Go day at the Senior Citizens Hall on Friday was as much a social catch-up as it was a membership drive.
