Police Confirm Theft And Fraud Charges Against Grenville OPP Detachment Commander

The OPP and Brantford Police Service are confirming that the top cop in Grenville is facing charges.
CTV News reports that Inspector June Dobson is facing charges after a three-month investigation into the theft of Wayne Gretzky’s hockey memorabilia from the legend’s father’s home.
According to the report the charges against Dobson, who is on leave for other reasons, are not related to the theft investigation.
The OPP can’t comment on the reasons for her leaving.
The initial investigation began when the Gretzky family contacted Brantford Police Service in August.
