IED found in J-K's Awantipora defused by joint team of police, Army and CRPF

Awantipora (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], May 31 (ANI): A joint team of police, Army and the Central Police Reserve Force (CRPF) on Monday defused an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) which was detected in a container approximately 10 litres in capacity, at Panzgam village in Awantipora area of South Kashmir's Pulwama district on Monday, informed the police.

LG Manoj Sinha dedicates DRDO s 500-bedded COVID hospital in J-K to people ANI | Updated: May 29, 2021 17:20 IST Jammu (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], May 29 (ANI): Strengthening healthcare facilities in Jammu and Kashmir amid the second wave of the COVID-19, Lieutenant General Manoj Sinha on Saturday dedicated a 500-bedded hospital by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) to the public. According to an official, the 500-bedded hospital dedicated to the public in Jammu today and another hospital will be set up in Kashmir soon. In order to meet the growing need for beds in the Union Territory (UT), the DRDO had started working on two such projects in the region, completing the 500-bedded facility at a COVID hopsital in Jammu within a period of 3 weeks.

Interacting with ex-US National Security Advisor HR McMaster, Jaishankar had also nailed infiltration from Pakistan as a key reason for the LoC tensions. In a statement, Pakistan Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri disputed this and claimed that the revocation of Article 370 was against international law and peace.
