YNAP looks to Burberry for new operations chief
Yoox Net-a-Porter Group (YNAP) has appointed former Burberry vice president of global customer fulfilment, Mirko Nobili, as its global operations director.
In his new role, Nobili will be responsible for maximising YNAP’s custom built “omnistock” model, which aims to give a single view of all inventory across the group and streamline product flow between its nine global distribution centres.
The model was designed to increase stock availability and improve delivery options for customers, and has now been implemented across 180 countries.
Nobili will also be responsible for digital production across YNAP, including ensuring the latest artificial intelligence and robotics engineering is used to bring products to life for customers across each online store.
