Biggest fishing derby yet

Jim Jones, the longtime organizer of an annual kids’ fishing derby at Mitchell Park in Greenfield, is pictured speaking to council members at their meeting Tuesday. A group comprising leaders across Highland County has been formed to address workforce problems that have long plagued the area, it was reported at Tuesday’s Greenfield Village Council meeting.

Beach Riot History and Biography
Beach Riot are a British indie-rock band from Brighton, consisting of Rory O Connor, Cami Menditeguy, Jim Faulkner and Jonny Ross.
They released their self-titled EP in 2018, which has since been followed by a string of singles, the most recent being 2020 s Wrong Impression. They will put out their debut album Subatomic Party Cool in 2021.

Muncie, IN Jim Faulkner’s dedication, sensitivity, and skill as a painter for more than 50 years made him one of the most revered artists in our region and state. In a 2006 article, Jim said “
I’ve always loved Indiana and it’s change of season, and I had missed it when I was gone . . . Indiana is as beautiful as any place in the world.”
Jim Faulkner passed away at 86 in January. A public reception celebrating Jim Faulkner will be held Thursday, May 6
th from 5-8 at Gordy Fine Art and Framing Company, 224 E. Main Street in downtown Muncie.
