George Goldfarb is retiring from his position as chief executive of Duluth-based women s apparel company Maurices, and former Express CEO David Kornberg will take his place next month.
Goldfarb, 61, has worked at Maurices for 36 years and spent a decade as president and CEO. As part of the transition announced Tuesday, Goldfarb will join Maurices board of directors and move into the role of chairman emeritus. George Goldfarb, longtime CEO of Duluth-based women’s clothing retailer Maurices, will step down from his job next month, the company announced Tuesday.
Beginning March 15, Goldfarb will end his daily duties as CEO and become “chairman emeritus” of the company’s board. David Kornberg the current CEO of Columbus, Ohio-based clothing retailer Express will take over as Maurices’ next CEO.
