CUTHBERT, Ga. (WALB) - The South Georgia Technical College Jets took their fifth straight and fourth consecutive Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) victory over Andrew College, 81 â 72, in Cuthbert Tuesday. The Jets are currently tied with Albany Technical College for first place in the GCAA with 4 â 0 records. South Georgia State College and Georgia Highlands are also undefeated with 3 â 0 and 2 â 0 performances.
âIt was a great team win,â said South Georgia Technical College Interim Jets head basketball coach. âAnytime you can go on the road and get a win in our league, itâs a big deal. Andrew is a tough place to play, not many teams leave with a win.â

(WALB) - Four South Georgia Technical College Jets scored in double-digits on the road to lead their team to a 74 â 60 upset victory over the 17th nationally-ranked Central Georgia Technical College Titans, who are also the three-time defending Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association conference champions. And just prior to the Jets big win, the Lady Jets took care of business to move to 9 â 0 overall and 4 â 0 in the conference with a 76 - 69 win over the Central Georgia Tech Lady Titans in Americus.

AMERICUS, Ga. (WALB) - South Georgia Technical College sophomore point guard Veronica Charles came off the bench to score 19 points in the first half.
Which was more than the entire Andrew College Fighting Tigers scored in the same time frame.
Charles helped lead the undefeated Lady Jets to their seventh straight win, by defeating the Tigers 90 â 52.
