CQ Announces 2021 Hall of Fame Inductees 05/25/2021
CQ has announced six new members to its Amateur Radio Hall of Fame, and two new members each to the DX Hall of Fame and the Contest Hall of Fame. This year’s inductions were conducted online due to event cancellations resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The CQ Amateur Radio Hall of Fame honors individuals who have made significant contributions to amateur radio and radio amateurs who have made significant contributions either to amateur radio, to their professions, “or to some other aspect of life on our planet,”
CQ said. The addition of six new members brings the total number to 339 since the Amateur Radio Hall of Fame was established in 2001.

BANGOR The following students have been named to the Fall 2020 President s List at Husson University. Students who make the President s List must carry at least 12 graded credit hours during the semester and earn a grade point average of 3.80 to 4.0 during the period.
Alyssa Lynn Limeburner, of Belfast, is a junior who is currently enrolled in Husson s Bachelor of Science in Psychology program.
Roy Alton Smith, of Belfast, is a junior who is currently enrolled in Husson s Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management program.
Sierra A. Fonger, of Brooks, is a junior who is currently enrolled in Husson s Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science/Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
Carolers bring holiday cheer to patients at Suncoast Hospice
Carolers walked around Suncoast Hospice this week singing in hallways and outside windows for the patients inside.

PINELLAS PARK, Fla. â A group of volunteers walked around Suncoast Hospice in Pinellas Park, singing carols at a safe distance for patients to enjoy.
âThis is the season where music can really lift you up,â said caroler Gerri Fegan.
Gerri and her husband Paul were among eight carolers to walk around Suncoast Hospice this week, stopping in hallways and outside windows, spreading the Christmas cheer through song.
âIt is a great gift for us to be able to share what we can do to make them happy,â said Gerri.
