It s called Each One Gets One, and it s happening 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Jacksonville s Gateway Town Center.
It means that any caregiver who brings someone 65 or older to get a COVID-19 vaccine at the federal vaccination site at 5000-7 Norwood Ave. can get one as well.
And that means any caregiver, regardless of age, said Sen. Audrey Gibson, D-Jacksonville, who posted the four-hour Honey drippers and ice cream event on her Facebook page.
“The idea of ‘Each One Gets One’ allows an individual who cares for a 65 or older senior and brings them to get vaccinated can get vaccinated also, Gibson said.
