Waldo County Technical Center (WCTC) has just completed its pilot session of Career & Technical Education (CTE) Summer Camp. The camp was held on the WCTC campus the last two weeks of July. About 30 campers participated. The camp featured five programs for middle schoolers from Waldo County. ....
Event Location: Event has passed LIBERTY Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021 marks the fourth annual Riley’s Wish Ice Fishing Derby and Winter Games in Liberty. Riley Boulay loved the great outdoors and all the activities that went along with it; from baseball to ice fishing. He also loved attending the Electrical Trades Program at Waldo County Technical Center (WCTC), where he was a student at the time of his passing in December, 2017. To honor Riley’s memory and his passions, The Boulay family started the tradition of Riley’s Wish. According to a Derby news release, Jackie Boulay, Riley’s mom, who is also the Culinary instructor at WCTC, states that “our main goal is for families to get out, make memories and have fun!” ....
