Zanesville man dies in one-vehicle crash
ZANESVILLE, Ohio The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a weekend crash that claimed the life of a Zanesville man. The State Patrol reports 35-year-old Jacob Burns was heading westbound on Richvale Road, between Dresden Road and Friendly Hills Road, when he drove off the right side of the roadway.
Burn’s vehicle reportedly struck a tree, and then caught fire. Burns died as a result of injuries sustained in the Saturday morning crash.

FALLS TOWNSHIP - A Zanesville man has died following a single-vehicle crash Saturday morning in Falls Township.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol, around 11:10 a.m., Jacob Burns, 35, was traveling westbound on Richvale Road between Dresden and Friendly Hills roads when he drove off the right side of the roadway.
His pickup truck reportedly struck a tree which immersed the vehicle in flames. He died as a result of his injuries.
Muskingum County sheriff s deputies, Falls Township Fire and EMS, Dresden EMS and the Muskingum County coroner were among other agencies on scene with OSHP troopers.
The OSHP Zanesville Post is investigating the crash.

Zanesville Man Dies in Crash It happened Saturday at around 11:00 a.m. Troopers say 35-year-old Jacob Burns was traveling west on Richvale Road between Dresden Road and Friendly Hills Road. Investigators says Burns drove off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree which immersed the vehicle in flames. The Patrol says Burns died as a result of his injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
