Orthopedic firms aid Grace, Ivy Tech

Two northeast Indiana colleges are benefiting from their proximity to a city nicknamed the Orthopedic Capital of the World.
The Orthopedic and Advanced Manufacturing Training Center at Ivy Tech Warsaw recently received 1,999 bars of density medical grade polyethylene, worth more than $100,000, from Zimmer Biomet, according to a news release.
Hereâs a look at the area baseball teams. Hamilton will not field a team this season.

The Central Noble baseball program is growing. There are 32 players in the program this year, which allowed them to put together a C team.
On the varsity, Dylan Eggl, Will Hoover, Jackson Hoover, Cade Weber and Noah Christopher are all returning with varsity experience.
The newcomers are Tyler Shisler, Jaxon Copas, Justin Krider, Aidan Dreibelbis, Caleb Weaver, Aidan Harman, Nick Godsey, Chase Spencer and Sawyer Yoder.
The strength of the Cougars will be their depth. With more players in the program, they will be able to utilize a lot of different athletes.

The federal government’s JobKeeper payment scheme has played a part in boosting Cirrus Networks’ half yearly after-tax profit by 514 per cent, year-on-year, to $1 million.
The JobKeeper payment, which came to $1.6 million, came during the the publicly listed IT services provider’s half-year ending 31 December 2020 and boosted its pre-option expense earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of $1.1 million.
