In-Person Art And Music Events Are Back In Charlotte As Pandemic Restrictions Loosen

Scheduled for this weekend are activities like a concert for Jazz Appreciation Day, a festival for your favorite four-legged friend and an arts show at The Underground at The Fillmore. Princeton Charter School and West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North teams advance to National Science Bowl competition

Princeton Charter School students celebrate their 2021 New Jersey Science Bowl win. Students from Princeton Charter School and West Windsor-Plainsboro High School tested their knowledge and skills at the U.S. Department of Energy’s New Jersey Science Bowl online competition last month and both won first place in their divisions in the regional competition, advancing to the nationals. The Princeton Charter School’s middle school team, coached by Laura Celik and Suzanne Ritter, will go to the National Science Bowl for the fourth time in a row after defeating William Annin Middle School in Basking Ridge, which took second place. Highland Park Middle School took third place in the competition, and the Noor-ul-Iman middle school team in South Brunswick received the Spirit Prize for displaying the best team spirit and sportsmanship.

How To Love Thy Neighbor To Benefit Charlotte s Homeless

A Tribute To Benefit concert in a past life . when live music still was possible. Life changed for Justin Fedor last year. Not for just the obvious reasons you would think of when considering what might happen to a musician during a year of social distancing amid the coronavirus pandemic. But also for one significant personal reason. Fedor moved in with his partner and began helping with the parenting of her three children, now ages 7, 9 and 10. Courtesy Lucia De Giovanni Musician Justin Fedor is organizing a Love Thy Neighbor benefit concert to raise money for Roof Above. “I spent the better part of the year facilitating home school and hanging out with the kids all day,” Fedor said.
