TR employees honored by AP for their work
ZANESVILLE - Employees of the Zanesville Times Recorder received several honors from the Ohio Associated Press Media Editors Awards this week for work published in 2020. The Times Recorder competes in Division II.
Christine Holmes placed second for best headline writer. The TR received second place for best digital presence.
Chris Crook received third place for best photographer, third place for best photo story for pictures related to a pride event and second place for best video for a piece on Dresden & Co.

ZANESVILLE - After a year of unprecedented circumstances due to the pandemic, Zanesville High School has named two new administrators.
On Wednesday evening, the Zanesville City Schools Board of Education unanimously voted to hire Zanesville resident Tim Gagliardo to take the helm at ZHS starting next school year.
Kellie Hayden, who works in Washington County for Warren Local Schools, will be the director of human resources and curriculum for grades 7 through 12.
Gagliardo will be leaving his freshman principal position at Gahanna Lincoln High School one of Ohio s largest high schools to work at ZHS,
Gagliardo s hire fills the position in the high school s top leadership role after former principal Laura Tompkins left in 2020 to take the same position at West Muskingum High School.
