Here’s when to book Massachusetts COVID vaccine appointments online
Updated Jan 29, 2021;
As Massachusetts enters Phase 2 of the COVID vaccine timeline, nearly a million more Bay State residents will be eligible to receive the vaccine. And with this, demand has skyrocketed.
Massachusetts health officials made 10,000 appointments at mass vaccination sites available Wednesday morning to be booked online, all of which were booked in a matter of hours. About 35,000 more appointments were made available Thursday.
After a day of residents and lawmakers expressing concern over the difficulties in booking appointments, state officials provided additional instructions Thursday for the process.
“It was a very frustrating day, we know that,” Baker said Thursday. He added that state officials are working to offer more supports for seniors who need help booking in coming days.
