A company and over 30 employees have been fined for gathering at a rubber tree plantation for work in the southern Vietnamese province of Binh Phuoc, which is against social distancing regulations in the locality.
The People’s Committee in Chon Thanh District, Binh Phuoc confirmed on Saturday they had imposed VND450 million (US$19,556) worth of fines on Dai Thien Phuc Investment Trading Service Company and its 32 employees for violating regulations on public assembly.
The company was slapped with a VND30 million ($1,300) fine, while 24 out of the 32 employees were each fined VND15 million ($652).

According to the Ministry of Transport (MoT), its divisions are striving to complete the statement to the Politburo for the policy approval of implementing a set target of 5,000- kilometer long expressways in the whole country by 2030.
Particularly, expressway construction projects with a total length of 871 kilometers will be completed and 1,176-kilometer new ones will be started works in the period 2021 – 2025. Of which, the country will complete Hoa Lien-Tuy Loan and Dau Giay- Tan Phu- Bao Loc expressways in the Central and Central Highlands regions with a total length of 139 kilometers and start works of Buon Ma Thuot – Van Phong expressway project with 105 kilometers.
