My Chemical Romance have announced three more live shows – in Russia and Ukraine – for 2022.
The New Jersey gang have added a trio of gigs in June to their huge comeback run next year, now also performing at St. Petersburg’s Ice Palace, Moscow’s Park Live Festival, and Kiev’s U Park Live on top of their already-announced dates.
“Something that I tried to do, and this was conscious, was relinquish some control,” the frontman explained. “I think about control a lot, and in the years since the band broke up I’ve really examined control in all of its forms. My goal at The Shrine was not to direct the audience to do anything. To let them do what they naturally wanted to do. It became less of working a crowd, as they say, or being an entertainer.
Welcome To The Black Parade” wasn’t iconic enough to be immortalized forever, a fan-made LEGO set depicting the group on the black-clad float has been submitted as a potential design.
According to the LEGO Ideas web page, the journey to becoming a LEGO Fan designer can take years to reach specific milestones and to garner enough support to have a design reviewed by a LEGO expert. Through the submission process, Fan designers are required to submit a well-thought-out LEGO build that will be reviewed by an expert after reaching 10,000 supporters.
“The journey of becoming a LEGO Fan designer is incredibly challenging and requires a unique brick-built concept, solid planning, a boatload of determination, as well as a healthy amount of patience,” the website says. “It can take up to several years and you will have to work hard to build awareness of your project until it gains the necessary 10,000 supporters. But, oh, the fame and fantastic sense of achievement that awaits you
