The American Heart Association, the leading voluntary health organization focused on heart and brain health for all, has set a record goal of $1.5 million for its 2021 Broward Heart Walk a March 14, 2021 digital experience event.
The Broward Heart Walk, in its 27
th year, is a fun and meaningful way to celebrate heart and stroke survivors, raise lifesaving funds and encourage physical activity. This year’s Heart Walk is dedicated in memory of Rick Case, a devoted community leader and longtime champion of the cause. Chaired by Andrew Koenig, president of CITY Furniture, the 2021 event is well on its way to achieving its aggressive goal with commitments including more than $300,000 from the furniture retailer, the largest ever for any Broward Heart Walk corporate sponsor.
This Sunday, March 14, is the 27th annual Broward Heart Walk, which benefits the American Heart Association. This year, the goal is to raise a record $1.5 million to help fight heart disease through research, advocacy and CPR training, and you can participate just by taking a neighborhood stroll.
