KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato, Jan. 6 (PIA) SOCCSKSARGEN Region s Regional Development Council (RDC XII) enjoins government offices to support efforts advancing the region s coffee industry.
RDC XII, in its 71st regular meeting on December 7, passed Resolution No. 103 s. 2020 requesting all regional line agencies and local government units in SOCCSKSARGEN Region to serve locally-produced coffee during meetings and similar activities.
Said resolution backs an earlier decision of the Economic Development Committee (EDC) XII recognizing local coffee production as one of the important growing industries in the region that can provide employment and additional income for small farmers.
