Police Blotter: Man Reporting To Probation Is 3 Sheets To The Wind; Pair Uses Citigo For Garbage Dump Wednesday, June 2, 2021 Police were called to TN Probation and Parole due to a possible intoxicated person who was reporting for their monthly meeting. A man showed up smelling like an intoxicant. The officer evaluated the man and determined he wasn t a danger to himself or others and he was released after his meeting. He is currently homeless and he said he stays in a tent near the Chattanooga Convention Center.   A woman on Grayshore Lane said she had purchased a red 2009 Nissan Altima late last year. She said she had a bill of sale and a Georgia title for the vehicle. She said that when she attempted to register the vehicle, in her name in Tennessee, she was told that the title was too worn out. Police Blotter: AR-15 Magazines Found Under Walnut Street Bridge; Stolen Car Found Just Around The Corner On Cherry Street Saturday, May 29, 2021 Police responded to 96 Walnut St. where security found AR-15 magazines underneath the Walnut Street Bridge. No bullets or casings were with the magazines. The magazines were covered in dirt and in a draw string bag. Security will be taking it to their lost and found at the ranger station at Coolidge Park.  A woman told police she was involved in a road rage incident a few days earlier near the Brainerd Road tunnels. She said her vehicle was parked downtown near her apartment complex for the next few days.

Police Blotter: Man With Knife At Champy s Asked To Leave; Dropped Coin Allows Woman To Spot Credit Card At Donut Window Sunday, February 28, 2021 Police observed two vehicles parked in the park at 2800 Harrison Pike at 8:45 p.m. Police spoke with the two drivers who said they were just enjoying that it was not raining and could talk outside. Both said they were unaware the park was closed. Police ran both men through NCIC and found neither had any outstanding warrants. Both men left the park.  While on patrol at 3401 Campbell St., police observed a white Chevy Cruz backed into a parking spot. Police ran the tag and found it to be stolen out of Gadsden, Ala.
