(Image: Saint John Police Force/submitted) Eight Saint John police officers have been recognized by their superiors for work during recent calls. Const. Scott Gogan received a Service Recognition Award for helping to recover a high-priced, unique guitar stolen from Long and McQuade last fall. Also given the award were Const. Jason Lohnes and Const. Mike Jackson, whose quick work during a robbery investigation led to the arrest of a suspect and charges being laid. Four other constables Tony Gilbert, Neal Fowler, Chris McCutcheon and Tony White received the Team Endeavour Award for their work investigating a string of bank robberies last year which also led to charges being laid against a suspect.
