The backers of a breakfast restaurant are planning a late-summer opening in Edgehill Village, with veteran chefs Parkes Brittain and Luke Williams to oversee the business.
To be called Egghill, the business will share an address with Jack Brownâs Beer and Burger Joint, a regional chain backed by local private equity firm and holding company Blackbird Capital. According to a release, Blackbird Capital is the investor in Egghill, which will have an address of 1201 Villa Place and will take about half the space once home to Edgehill Cafe. The space is adjacent to Jack Brownâs, which opened in late 2019.

The Arts & Business Council of Greater Nashville has announced a partnership with Blackbird Media to feature local artists and artwork on The Nashville Sign in Midtown.
Located at the intersection of Broadway, West End Avenue and 16th Avenue, The Nashville Sign (pictured) is an electronic billboard that is perhaps best know for arts, music and culture in the city. Sponsored by F&M Bank, the “Artist of the Week” campaign started this week and will highlight artists working in painting, sculpture, fashion and textiles.

The website notes Alcove is slated for a summer-2022 delivery and will house 356 units in 34 stories. Prime will rise 38 stories with 350 residences.
