D.A.: Serial burglar performed sex act in front of 102-year-old woman


NORRISTOWN — A Philadelphia man is accused of multiple daytime residential burglaries and attempted burglaries in Montgomery, Delaware and Philadelphia counties, including one during which he allegedly performed a sex act in view of a 102-year-old woman.
Raheem White, 41, of the 200 block of East Montana Street, was arraigned before District Court Judge Patricia A. Zaffarano on charges of burglary, attempted burglary, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, indecent assault and indecent exposure in connection with alleged incidents that occurred in the three counties between July 2020 and January 2021.
Zaffarano set bail at $1 million cash and White, unable to post bail, was remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility to await an April 2 preliminary hearing on the charges. ....

Trial ordered for Cheltenham man accused in double slaying


CHELTENHAM — A Cheltenham man accused of the gunshot slayings of his wife and mother-in-law during a domestic disturbance in the home they shared is facing a trial in Montgomery County Court.
Frederick Lee Clea, 58, of the 7700 block of Green Valley Road, was held for trial on Thursday, after a preliminary hearing before District Court Judge Christopher J. Cerski, on two counts each of first- and third-degree murder and a single count of possessing an instrument of crime in connection with the alleged July 25 fatal shootings of his wife, Latiya, 41, and his mother-in-law, Mekenda Sanders, 75, inside their home in the Wyncote section of the township. ....
