The Cherokee Area Transportation System (CATS) is set to host a public input meeting and an online comment period to generate feedback on proposed changes to several fixed-route stops.
âBasically, weâre moving a few stops for safety reasons in some cases and to make routes more efficient. We are adding two stops where we have seen a need for increased service. We are removing a couple of stops that are redundant because they are sometimes within 100 yards of other stops, and then we are moving some routes from the 100 route to the 200 route in order to make the entire system more efficient,â Community Services Agency Director Bryan Reynolds said.
