Delmarva Now and The Daily Times were named News Organization of the Year as our staff was honored for their work and talents, earning multiple regional awards.
The Maryland Delaware D.C. Press Association awards recognize the best work of journalists in Maryland, Delaware and the District of Columbia. MDDC Executive Director Rebecca Snyder announced the 2020 awards virtually from May 3-7.
The Daily Times and Delmarva Now took home 16 first-place finishes, 11 second-places and two best of shows
The contest, governed by the MDDC’s Editorial and Advertising Committees, had nearly 1,500 entries from 48 member publications among 85 categories.
