State Senate President Chuck Morse on Monday was named to the executive committee of the largest national political organization focused on electing Republicans to state legislatures across the country.Morse was among about 30 state lawmakers from 30 states tapped for a leadership role by the Republican Legislative Campaign Committee, one of several GOP groups operating as part of the Republican State Leadership Committee.Morse was instrumental in the Senate Republican caucus’ 2020 election campaign, in which th

âI would say this: It is unfortunately a tragic and cautionary tale ⦠that everybody has such a responsible role to play in protecting the safety of others and not just themselves,â Sununu said.
The 71-year-old Merrimack Republican died Wednesday at his home.
Sununu said he has faith that legislative leaders will create operating rules for the upcoming 2021 session that keep lawmakers, staff and the general public safe. But the Newfields Republican had choice words for elected officials who have flouted the statewide mask requirement and other restrictions intended to prevent wider community transmission of COVID-19.
