In November, former Vice President Joseph Biden defeated incumbent President Donald Trump, winning 51.3% of the vote compared to 46.9% for Trump. Bidenâs margin was 7.1 million votes, and 306 Electoral College votes, compared to Trumpâs 232. However, margins in several key states were closeâ21,000 votes in Wisconsin and 12,000 in Georgia.Â
