(Seguin) Channel your inner artist and join the Seguin Art League for its annual Paint Out and Wet Painting Sale in Downtown Seguin April 23rd and 24th.
On Friday, April 23rd at 8:30 a.m., artists will check in at the Seguin Art League building at 104 South Austin Street and then disburse throughout downtown Seguin to begin painting. The theme for the paint out is “Anything Seguin” and artists are encouraged to paint the different landmarks and landscapes found in downtown. All painting media are acceptable, including pastel, pen and ink, and pencil.
All participating artists will have until 5 p.m. that day to complete their artwork before returning it to the Art League building to be judged and dry overnight. On Saturday, April 24th, the artwork will be displayed and judged as part of Seguin Main Street’s Spring Trade Days. Artists are invited to pass out ballots for “People’s Choice” and discuss their paintin
