General manager Brad Holmes and the Detroit Lions got to work following the conclusion of the seventh round of the draft, working the phones to sign some undrafted free agents.
Here s a look at the undrafted free agents the Lions have agreed to terms with so far:
Jonathan Adams, WR, Arkansas State
Caught 79 passes for 1,111 yards and 12 touchdowns last year as the Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Year. Another big-bodied receiver at 6-foot-2 and 210 pounds. He ran the 40 in 4.54 seconds. Combined to catch 141 passes for 1,962 yards and 17 touchdowns the last two seasons.
D Angelo Amos, S, Virginia
A graduate transfer from James Madison, Amos appeared in nine games for Virginia in 2020 with five starts. He recorded 47 combined tackles (29 solo) with three tackles for loss, three passes defended and two interceptions.
Real Salt Lake selected forward
Aris Briggs from Georgia State University in the third round of the 2021 MLS SuperDraft presented by adidas with the 61st overall pick.
“Aris is a powerful, relentless attacking player with game changing potential. We are happy to welcome him to Real Salt Lake,” Real Salt Lake Assistant General Manager Tony Beltran said.
A two-time Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Year, Aris scored 27 goals in 53 appearances for Georgia State, including 16 goals during his junior season. He added five goals in his senior season, good for second-most in the country.

DALLAS, TX – Coastal Carolina redshirt freshman quarterback Grayson McCall was named the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) Most Inspirational Freshman for 2020, it was announced on Monday night during a virtual award show.
One of seven semifinalists for the Shaun Alexander-FWAA Freshman of the Year award, McCall was named to the FWAA Freshman All-America team and The Athletic’s 2020 College Football Freshman All-America team.

CONWAY, S.C. â Coastal Carolina football had a pair of freshmen in Grayson McCall and Willie Lampkin named to The Athleticâs 2020 College Football Freshman All-America team.
McCall was named the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year, and earned a spot on the All-Sun Belt first team for his play this season.
The redshirt freshman has been superb in his first season as the starting quarterback for the nationally-ranked Chanticleers. He is among the nationâs leaders with 23 passing touchdowns and just two interceptions and leads the Sun Belt in passing efficiency at 185.9 on the season.
