Jerome, Teejay open for same sex relationship

SunStar Contributed photo February 14, 2021 FILIPINO BL (Boys Love) fans are sure celebrating when actors Jerome Ponce and Teejay Marquez admitted publicly that they are both open to the possibility of falling in love with another man, even to each other. In a digital conference on February 11 on the Regal Entertainment’s Facebook page and Youtube channel, both actors who are the main stars of Ben x Jim Forever (Season 2), shared they are not closing doors for same-sex relationships. “That’s love, lahat is a possibility. Sa possibility pagdating sa love, walang percentage yan, andun yan sa chance, it’s a yes for me. And possible na kay Teejay ko maramdaman,” Jerome said.

Metro Manila Film Festival 2020: A plotting waste

Directed by  Easy Ferrer GREAT promise was certainly seen in Easy Ferrer’s first horror flick. But promises don’t always translate to something concrete, and that promise went, well, missing, in this movie. We’re not about to say that horror is an easy task. An increasingly difficult world has made audiences jaded, and therefore, less easy to scare. Ritz Azul (unconvincingly) plays an architect named Iris, who is an expert in the field of restoration. An ex-lover of hers, Job (Joseph Marco) hires her for a (hah!) job. A former professor wants to restore his creaking, possibly cursed, ancestral house in Japan, where they meet Miles Ocampo’s Len, a protege of Job’s. Easy enough, right?

REVIEWS: Metro Manila Film Festival 2020

endIndex: Antoinette Jadaone s Fan Girl, starring Paulo Avelino and Charlie Dizon, won the Best Picture in this year s Metro Manila Film Festival. Screencap from BLACK SHEEP/YOUTUBE Dagupan (CNN Philippines Life) With Filipino stories dominating the screens every Christmas season, the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) is historically home to some of mainstream Filipino cinema’s best and worst. This year, the MMFF expands its film selection to ten films instead of the usual eight, and offers even Filipinos outside of the country a chance to celebrate with the community, via online streaming as the country is still in quarantine.
