───   LUCKY NKUYANE 08:22 Fri, 30 Jul 2021 PHOTO: Katleho Morapela The Mangaung Metro Municipality s Council in the Free State will on Friday sit in a closed council meeting following the tabling of an investigative report and the resignation letter of the suspended Municipal Manager (MM). The council will on Friday deliberate on whether to agree to let suspended MM Tankiso Mea go without pursuing the disciplinary processes against him. This after it was reported that Mea tendered his resignation letter in June and his last day at the helm of the metro s position is expected to be 31 July 2021, following his suspension in May 2021. According to the DA, the independent investigation led by two senior counsellors (SC) - Tebogo Manye and Johan Nel - found that most charges of maladministration and misconduct against Mea were substantiated.
