KUALA LUMPUR, Apr 1 Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia has been accused of attempting to covertly induce Barisan Nasional (BN) component parties MCA and MIC to join the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition.
Malaysiakini reported Umno Youth exco member Md Fadzmel Md Fadzil as having revealed this during the ‘The Political Scenario after Umno General Assembly’ webinar last night.
During the webinar organised by the Kuala Lumpur Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall (KLSCAH) he said Bersatu’s efforts have managed to trigger the anger of Umno grassroots.

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 12: The Year of Golden Ox is celebrated moderately by the Chinese community today by adhering to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) set following the implementation of the Movement Control Order (MCO).
Although this year’s celebration is devoid of lion or dragon dance performances, large fireworks display and open houses, religious activities in the temple and visiting families are still allowed for those living within 10 kilometres radius.

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 12 The Year of Golden Ox is celebrated moderately by the Chinese community today by adhering to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) set following the implementation of the movement control order (MCO).
Although this year’s celebration is devoid of lion or dragon dance performances, large fireworks display and open houses, religious activities in the temple and visiting families are still allowed for those living within 10 kilometres radius.
KUALA LUMPUR: Public safety and health must be a priority for the Government, especially with the high number of Covid-19 cases, says MCA youth.
Its vice chairman Chua Hock Kuan said the extension of the movement control order (MCO) until Feb 18 should be welcomed by all parties. This is for our long-term security. The question of public safety and health must be a priority for the government, moreover, the number of positive Covid-19 cases in our country is still high, he said in a statement on Tuesday (Feb 2).
He said although Chinese New Year was approaching, the MCO would not be a barrier for it to be celebrated.
