Portland non-profit Self Enhancement Inc. was hit by burglars who stole $20,000 in items that were intended to help kids.
The burglary happened early Wednesday morning.
The items that were stolen include laptops, desktops, drones for an educational program, and gift cards that parents were to use to buy school supplies.
SEI helps 17,000 kids a year.
The organization has been closed for 15 months, because of the pandemic and they were just preparing to reopen.
