San Antonio opens COVID-19 vaccine waiting list, prioritizes older residents

The city of San Antonio rolled out its COVID-19 vaccine wait list Wednesday morning, finally giving people a way to escape the stress of hunting for appointments on their own.
Adult Texas residents can register themselves or a family member to the list, which went live shortly after 10 a.m
., by visiting sanantonio.gov/waitlist or sanantonio.gov/listadeespera, for Spanish speakers. Those without internet access can also call the city’s 311 line, 210-207-6000. After signing up, people will receive a confirmation text or email and be contacted by a vaccine provider once an appointment becomes available.
