Exchanges with international military academies grow cadets skills
UNG cadets Addilyn Koonce and Kobe Holland studied at Fu Hsing Kang College, National Defense University, in Taiwan for the spring 2021 semester.
The University of North Georgia s (UNG) partnerships with military academies around the world continue to bring opportunities for growth for UNG cadets and international cadets.
This spring, UNG welcomed the first two cadets from Korean Military Academy (KMA) and two cadets from Romania for a semester. Two cadets from Taiwan also are studying at UNG for four years.
On the other hand, three UNG cadets spent the spring semester at a pair of universities in Taiwan.
Eric Chu outlines his goals for KMT

Gaining public support for the Chinese Nationalist Party (KMT) and bolstering unity within the party are his main goals, former KMT chairman Eric Chu (朱立倫) said yesterday, amid speculation that he might seek the chairmanship again this year.
“Our most important goal right now is to win more support for the KMT from the public” and unite the party, Chu said on the sidelines of an event in Taipei.
Some people are concerned that if the KMT is divided, that would harm its chances in next year’s local elections, he said.
