AUBURN The Lewiston girls hockey team likes to spread the wealth around.
Seven different players scored as the Blue Devils defeated Edward Little/Leavitt/Poland 8-0 at Norway Savings Bank Arena on Saturday night. Madison Conley had two goals and three assists.
“In a situation like this in the last game of the year, kids press, they want some recognition but I didn’t see anyone pass up pass opportunities,” Lewiston coach Ron Dumont said. “So, they did a real good job of that. It was good our two senior starters Brie Dube and Madison Conley (scored). That’s really nice.”

AUBURN On senior night for St. Dominic Academy/Gray-New Gloucester/Winthrop, it was the seniors who played a pivotal role in the Saints’ win.
Gigi Ouellette had two goals and Tayrn Cloutier scored the other as the Saints defeated Edward Little/Leavitt/Poland 3-2 at Norway Savings Bank Arena.
The seniors were excited for their final home game for a group of nine players.
“We have a large group, nine girls and I never have really had that, to be quite honest with you,” Saints coach Paul Gosselin said. “It was kind of a mix of (girls who have played) and some new girls. It was nice to see the numbers come out and nice to see them be added to the program. But it was nice for them to come out earlier, but it’s always tough to see the four-year (players) leave. I have spent a lot of time with them.”
Madison Forgue had eight, with a basket in each quarter.
“She has a really good presence on the court,” Ouellette said. “She’s just one of our leaders out on the court, being able to calm everyone down.”
Winthrop had eight different scorers, including seven in the first half, which the hosts ended with a 37-9 lead.
“In practice the past few days we’ve really worked on taking our time and finding the open looks on offense, rotating the ball multiple times, and the girls looked really good today doing that,” Ramblers co-coach Jess Merrill said. “So it’s good momentum moving forward and good confidence-booster for them.”
However, the Cougars made 8 of their 11 free throws in overtime to grab the victory.
“This is why practice them,” Conlogue said.
Kiely Reynolds scored 16 points and Eva Stevens added 12 to pace Mt. Blue. Katelyn Daggett added 11 for the victors.
Doran scored 15 points to lead the Eagles.
GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 48, OAK HILL 46: Sarah Fecteau scored 13 points, and Caitlin Taylor and Mikenzie Davis added 10 apiece as the Patriots (3-1) edged the Raiders (4-1) at Gray.
Gabrielle Chessie scored 14 points for Oak Hill.
GREELY 64, EDWARD LITTLE 31: Camille Clement put in 21 points as the Rangers (5-1) defeated the Red Eddies (2-5) in Auburn.
Chelsea Gravier finished with 12 points and Mollie Obar had 12 points for Greely.

The Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse girls hockey team is riding momentum.
After defeating Yarmouth/Freeport 3-1 on Thursday, the Eagles earned their fourth win Saturday night by defeating Edward Little/Leavitt/Poland 4-2 at Norway Savings Bank Arena.
It was the Eagles’ first win over the Red Hornets in program history.
“We had a lot of energy, we were very confident in what we were doing, we just did what we did last game,” Eagles forward Sarah Moore said.
