Wisconsin Assembly clears 2nd Amendment sanctuary bill exempting gunowners from federal regulations

A bill that would prohibit enforcement of federal gun restricts on Wisconsin gunowners cleared the Wisconsin Assembly on Wednesday. It’s part of a “Second Amendment sanctuary” wave of bills that have been passing state and local governments nationwide in the past year.
“This will not allow any state funding to be used to confiscate legally possessed firearms, and that would be from the DOJ down to the local municipalities of law enforcement,” bill author Rep. Treig Pronschinske (R-Mondovi) said in a press conference Wednesday.

MILWAUKEE â Leaders in Milwaukee answered people s questions about state and local marijuana laws in a virtual information session Tuesday night.
Marijuana is illegal in Wisconsin, and lawmakers say they expect it to be that way for some time. Penalties may vary depending on where you are in the state.
The event was called Legalize MKE Education Series and it was hosted by the Wisconsin Cannabis Activist Network. Panelists included Milwaukee City Attorney Tearman Spencer, State Sen. Lena Taylor, Milwaukee County Sheriff s Office Chief of Staff Ted Chisolm, Erik Marsch of the Wisconsin Cannabis Activist Network, as well as a few others.
