Chicago restaurateur Stephanie Izard of Top Chef fame concocted the Cheez-Itennal Cake to help consumers nationwide celebrate 100 years of the orange square snack crackers. Lay s is introducing a trio of new potato chip flavors to kick off the 2021 summer season, and they re continuing the pattern of chile mango flavors we re seeing from big brands this year.

Following the launch of a Mangonada at Baskin Robbins, Lay s is doing their own spicy, fruity variety with a bag of Chile Mango chips. There s not much other detail on the spice blend, but while Tajin was at the core of Baskin Robbins collab, they appear to be sitting this one out.
The other flavors that Lay s is bringing to the table this summer include Wavy Jerk Chicken and a Summer BLT. The Jerk Chicken version promises spicy, sweet, and smoky jerk flavor, while the Summer BLT chip has lettuce, tomato, and bacon seasoning on it.
In anticipation of summer, Frito-Lay recently launched three new, limited-edition Lay s flavors that are perfect for the warmer weather. The new line-up includes Chile Mango, Wavy Jerk Chicken, and Summer BLT, and these mouthwatering new flavors are set to hit stores later this week for $3.79 until supplies last.
The Chile Mango, as its name suggests, features the fruity flavor of mango, combined with the spice and tang of chile peppers. The Wavy Jerk Chicken, on the other hand, boasts a traditional spicy, sweet, and smoky jerk flavor. Lastly, the SUmmer BLT variant blends the flavor profiles of bacon, tomato, and lettuce for a savory new treat.
