Officers set up a cordon outside an address in Brook Farm Drive on April 6 after responding to concerns for safety. When they arrived, they found the woman, in her 40s, was dead. West Mercia Police said the death is not being treated as suspicious, though officers remained at the scene for most of the day. A spokesman said: We were called to a property in Brook Farm Drive, Malvern, on Tuesday, April 6 at 11.45am to a concern for safety.
By Tarik Al Rasheed A CHARITY that brings children still living with the fallout of the Chernobyl disaster for “health-giving” holidays is seeking support and funds to ensure it can continue for another year. Chernobyl Children’s Life Line Malvern and District Link has been bringing youngsters from Belarus to the town every summer since 2002. But to ensure this summer’s visit can go ahead, the charity needs to raise at least £6,000 and find host families willing to welcome the children into their home for part or all of their four-week stay. Ten children aged 10 and 11 are set to visit from the town of David-Gordock, in southern Belarus, between June 11 and July 9, 2014.

In over 50 years I have never known a topic given so much disproportionate publicity in the media in general. The facts which continue to be ignored are these: lEncroachment on the Malvern Hills is against the various Acts of Parliament. lThe Acts were formulated to protect the beauty of the Malvern Hills against desecration and commercial exploitation. lIndeed, Malvern For All has been forbidden by Malvern Hills Conservators to make any survey on the hills. lThe cable car would violate the Malvern Hills area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB) and the protected Ancient Monument status of the higher slopes of the hills.
