Will Anyone Have The Nerve To Tell "Dr. Jill" Biden To Stop Insisting On Her Comic Title? | Blog Posts

So I often refer to a person with Ph.D. rather than an M.D. as “Dr. So-and-So.”
But insisting that other people call
you Doctor, especially when you got a doctorate in Education (which 95% of the time is just a way to pad your pay from the public school district), is pretty tacky.
Mick Jagger, I’m guessing, doesn’t stop people who say “Mr. Jagger, may I have your autograph” and tell them, “Address me only as ‘Sir Mick:’ I have been knighted by Her Majesty.” Or maybe he does. Who knows?
In general, the Bidens seem like people of run-of-the-mill IQs (e.g., Beau, the late Good Son, failed the admittedly tough Delaware bar exam three times) who are insecure about their merely normal brainpower, and overreact embarrassingly. Thus, this incident on the campaign trail in 1987: ....

He joined the Yale faculty in 1990 after working at Texas Instruments, where he coined the term quantum dots and demonstrated the first quantum dot device. For more than 30 years at Yale, Reed was extremely active and continued his streak of firsts, including the first conductance measurement of a single molecule, the first single molecule transistor, and the development of CMOS nanowire biosensors. Reed was the author of more than 200 professional publications, 6 books, delivered 75 plenary and over 400 invited talks, and holds 33 U.S. and foreign patents on quantum effect, heterojunction, a ....

Multiple historic events unfolded Wednesday, each significant in their own way, but together they could portend a sea change in American democracy, according to David Driesen, a professor at Syracuse College of Law.
“The significance of the vote today, along with the violent protests, convinces me that we need to strengthen our democracy in some very specific ways,” Driesen told
Capital Tonight.
It was an unprecedented day.
As expected, Republicans began to challenge the certification of the Electoral College vote, but were interrupted by a mob of Trump supporters, some armed, who stormed the U.S. Capitol calling fo ....
